Soup, Meds and Bed.

Not feeling so great today.

Had diarrhea and nausea at about 7 am and went back to bed for six hours. I'm up long enough to get a little something on my stomach and then will head back to bed.

The "girdle bra" is driving me crazy but I'm trying to be a good patient and leave it in place.

Just don't feel so great, all in all--pain wise, fatigue wise, and upset stomach wise.

My immediate future looks like it will consist of soup, meds, and bed.

Thanks for your sweet comments in the guest book and for your prayers.

Wish I lived close enough to bring you some soup. Since I don't, I will pray you feel better soon and get your strength back quickly!

Your body is telling you to slow it down and stay in med - the shock that your system went through is beginning to show up - so, do what you are told by your body and your mind and go to bed, eat lightly and sleep, sleep, sleep - there are many great days ahead. I wish they had some other way than a "bra girdle" to take care of whatever it is it is taking care of.....Wish I could help but know I am praying fervently for you.

Hang in there! You just do what you have to do to feel better. I would recommend the BRAT diet (I really hate that word), but it is all food that is the easiest on a touchy digestive system. Bananas, rice, applesauce, toast. Anything with fat in it is going to be hard on the stomach, so no butter on the toast, but jam or honey is ok. This works for all ages! Hope you feel better soon. Your "girdle" sounds like medieval torture. Have a contest for how to put it to another use after you are finished with it. Prayers for you as always.

I'm here too, checking in on how you are doing and wishing to fast forward to next month when things will feel ever so much more manageable. We just dropped our sophomore daughter back at college today so the house is extra quiet tonite. Hang in there Becky!

Hope you are feeling a little better today - if not, take it easy and rest and sleep until you do. My grandson is coming to visit this weekend - he is walking! I will be finding out quickly what is safe and not safe in my house! Take care, Becky - you are in my thoughts and prayers.
