New Design

Well, the new design is finally up! (In case you didn't notice.)

There are one or two changes I'm still going to make, one of them being to have orange as the background, instead of the light taupe. The overall look just isn't quite bright enough for me. Plus, it will be a nice feel of continuity from the old design to this one.

But it's finally done! What a relief!

Hmmm, honestly, I like the old one better. But maybe the color change will help. It seems sorta blah. JMHO. Elaine

I love the new look! (But do the color change...it is a bit drab.)

How is Megan doing?

And keeping our fingers crossed for your house...

I really like it and think the orange will be just gorgeous!

I love it, Becky. It gives you 3 columns while still keeping the main one large so that your photos show well. It's very easy on the eyes (wasn't that a complaint about the other design?) The font is great... very readable. And I love the tabs, with a chance to learn more about you and the family. You've uncluttered it... wonderful! Now, can you come here and do the same for my house? please? As if you don't have enough on your plate already....

The new design in good but I miss the family picture. Will look forward to the orange as I like that color. You're doing great, girl.

Praying the house will sell when you get the answer within a week. God just needed to save that lady some money by having you reduce the price. He is right on time.

If your Dr. H. is the (I think) head surgeon my sister said he is the best. She got her BSN from East Carolina and was a Pitt part of the time. She went to him and he is watching her situation--no surgery for now.

Take care and keep the sense of humor. As Jimmy V said--never give up--that is on my car license tag.

My first impression was that it is so much easier to read, less busy, less colorful. These old eyes appreciate that.

Then I read the rest of the update. So I shall hold my opinion until I see the finished product. So far...I love it!

And, gee, I know how much my opinion means to you. I bet you will wait with bated breath. (Wh do I use that phrase so frequently when I am unsure of the spelling of bated???)

I like it, but think it will be much more lively with the orange. It is a bit drab with the light colors. The orange background will look really neat with the pop of orange in your family picture at the top. :)

I like the new look - I think the orange will be a nice addition but this one is also very calming. I also do miss the family photo but there is a small one here also. The tabs are fun to find out information. I hope to see a photo of you with completely shining happy eyes very soon. It just struck me that your photo, while very pretty, shows such a sadness in your eyes. Just my thought - not to be critical - just made me a little sad to see your sadness.

It sounds crazy for the lady interested in your house would want to take on renovations and dealing with contractors and the stress of that when she could move right in to your lovingly cared for home in Smithfield. I hope she sees the light!!! Praying.
