Today when we got home from church Sarah said, “Mom, are you in a picture taking mood?”
I was almost tempted to check her for fever since that is one of the most crazy questions she has ever asked me. I mean, when I am I ever not in a picture taking mood? (Never, that’s when.)
So before heading in for lunch, my darling daughter and I went out to our front yard and got a few photos just for the fun of it.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Have I mentioned how much I love having a daughter? (And a son? And a daughter-in-law?)

She is so gorgeous. Should truly consider modeling--an advantage being tiny in terms of acting and modeling. Your photos are great too, have to be for a teen daughter to ask to be photographed.

Oh My Goodness. I used to read Sarah's blog, but about 3-4 years ago my computer got fried. Nothing was recovered. And I lost all of my internet favourites, including a lot of caringbridge journals. I lost track of all of the precious children I was following, including Sarah.
I don't know what it was, but I looked you and two other families up tonight (I do know. It is the anniversary of Allie Scott's death. Can you believe that has stuck in my head after 7 years? She was the first I followed).
I've come back to your beautiful family. And sweet, not-quite-13 Sarah is a beautiful 16 year old. And Nathan has graduated and married a young Stockard Channing! (She's so beautiful. And looks just perfectly happy and fun for your family. She has a joie de vivre that Nathan so deserves in his life).
Snowy is still with you, and Sarah is still well (I've gathered so far)? I'm sorry to read about your Dad though.

Sorry. This may seem such an odd comment, after so many years. But I never forgot Sarah. I love love LOVE that she's still a fellow bookworm. I'd have hated if she'd lost that.
I hope I can stick around and continue to watch her grow up.
