Flash Mobbin'

I love these flash mob things because you just can't help but smile when watching them. This one features a Christmas song; its starts slow and mellow and gets really fun and funky by the end of it.

Someday I think it would be fun to be in a flash mob.  Maybe Sarah, Steve and I could go down to the local McDonalds, seat ourselves in random places and at a certain, secret signal, all leap up and burst forth into song.

Or not.

Flash mob, huh? A few years ago none of us would have known what that meant. Oh, perhaps those of us over 45-50 would think it was referring to those periods each day when we are "mobbed" by some annoying hot flashes!!!

I agree with Pam D (and usually do). Do it. Video record it. Send it to us. We will become your managers.

Today, McDonalds. Tomorrow, Dancing with the Stars.

I'm so proud to be a Minnesotan! It is nice to see all these fresh faced young people who can still find joy in their world and are willing to share it with others. Go Minnesota! For those of you who don't know, the Carlson School of Business is a prestigious program, and difficult to get in to. Sure hope this does go viral. It is cold up here - we have to be creative!

I love this one! Probably because my son plays saxophone. I posted it on my FB wall. I'd love to see one of these in person sometime. :)

I too am a proud minnesotan and love flash mob videos. I do have one pet peeve, though. Shouldn't there be a bit of an audience? I really dislike when the mob out-numbers the audience.

Whoo! Flash mobs rock. :) I do a lot of flash mobs (including 5 episodes of the show Mobbed; they haven't aired yet!), so this post made me smile. If you and the family ever want any tips on putting together a good mob, I'd be happy to help. :)

This is one that we did in November. It meant a lot to me personally because my colleague's daughter has ovarian cancer right now. We were all dancing for her!

Wow! That looks like fun! I would be afraid to be one of the ones just standing there. They look ridiculous! :)

Did you see the one of the symphony? I want to say it was in Norway or Sweden. It was phenomenal!
