Good News!

We just heard back from the vet and Snowy--thankfully--just has a bladder infection! No sign of kidney stones. I never thought I'd be grateful for a bladder infection.)

He'll be on medication for a while and that should clear everything up.

Happy, happy day!

Wow! I have so much to catch up on. First of all, did Sarah get a call from THE BOY? I can understand and appreciate your trepidation over this, Becky! I also hope you are feeling less "icky." We all have those days and like another person wrote here, it is just fine with us if you write exactly how you are feeling and then, hopefully, we can help with a few messages. I had an "icky" day late yesterday and some today - my grandson went home with his mommy, so I am in a very quiet house missing him and my daughter a lot! I love the video of Snowy - he is just so cute and I wish I could reach through the Internet and give him a squeeze. What great news that Snowy is not seriously ill and that you have found such a thorough and thoughtful vet in your new location. Luckily, you are aware of the symptoms and you will be able to get him help before anything serious occurs again. Your sister's writing is powerful and it deserves a second read which will happen shortly. It was good to see some pictures of Nathan even if he is munching on a tree trunk?!!!?! Also, Steve's office is beautiful. You certainly have a flare for decorating but that is not surprising as creative as you are. I have shopped at Big Lots lots (no pun intended - well, maybe a little). It is a hit or miss experience but I have found many treasures and some practical items for unbelieveable prices.

I am so glad Snowy seems to be doing alright. Your mom just sounds like such a sweetheart.

I read about Snowy earlier today, and my heart sank. We found out our 3 year old French Bulldog has cancer last night. She has surgery tomorrow and I am going to take it on a good note that if Snowy is gonna be ok, well, so is Pixie! Can't hold the good dogs down!

I just watched the Snowy video over on Sarah's blog. My Maltese poodle was sitting on my lap while I watched it. I think it was love at first sight. I hope Snowy isn't already taken :) We could have an arranged marriage. I hope my puppy isn't too young for Snowy :) she's 10 months :)
