Oops. I Just Now Realized . . .

. . . that Smithellaneous will hit the 1 million mark sometime this evening or tomorrow.

I've moved the counter to the top of the right column--just beneath the ads--to make it easier to keep an eye on it. (Look for the title that says, "How many have stopped by?")

I would offer some sort of grand and/or glorious prize to whoever is the one millionth visitor but at this point, it would probably be a flashlight battery or a jug of drinking water.

But actually? You ALL deserve a prize today for being such faithful, wonderful, loyal, charming Smithellaneous readers.

Thanks so much for being part of the Smithellaneous Family.

I'm sure I won't be the one to mark 1,000,000 but that is okay as long as you and all the Smithes stay safe during Irene's visit - it has been worth a 1,000,000 different things to me to be part of this blog and Sarah's Spot. Thank you - now "hunker down" and stay safe!

18 more to go to 1 MILLION!!! wow that is incredible!! (and I get excited evey time my blog's counter goes up by 1000!!).

Praying for you and your family and all who are in the storm's path. I've never experienced a hurricane (we don't get them on the Canadian prairies) but I have lived through a terrible tornado when I was a child. Stay safe and don't take any chances (as I'm sure you won't!).

999,999 and I have pictoral proof. Check your email inbox.

NED was the doctor's words today (if you haven't seen my text). Still another 24 weeks of treatment left (minimum). More later.

Stay safe and please evacuate if things become questionable. Remember you can text me, if you can't get online and I will post to the comments section.

I have been a long-time lurker at Sarah Smith's Spot and Smithellaneous, and being visitor 1,000,000 prompted me to finally leave a comment (something I should have done long ago!).

I am very grateful to your entire family for sharing so much of your life with us, and your story helped both myself and my mom when she fought colon cancer a couple years ago. Thank you!

I am grateful that your family, your church and your home have weathered (pun intended) the storm safely, and I will keep all of Roanoke Island in my prayers over the coming days. Thank you for sharing the stories and pictures - it is sobering.
