We're headed back to Smithfield in a couple minutes.
We're expecting another call from the animal hospital any minute; we did hear from them this morning. They said that Snowy had another tough night; they finally decided to go ahead and sedate him again and insert a 12-hour catheter. He's still in a lot of pain and on his IV's and meds. We definitely won't be picking him up today.
A sad, stressful day in the "dog department. . ."

Will you be able to be with Snowy at the hospital?
I would think that would be good for him to be with his family.

Praying for your sweet little guard dog; I'm thinking of his little face peering through the van window at the restaurant, fiercely guarding the Smith vehicle. And how big a heart he has for such a little body. If there's any way that you can go visit him, I'm sure that he would love to hear your voice and feel your touch. Even if the vet could put the phone to his ear? Sweet Snowy... may God hold him gently, as well as you. hugs...
