Well, it seems as though I was sadly mistaken.
Nathan and his girlfriend, Meagan, will NOT be coming home after all.
It seems as though some things have transpired in recent hours in their relationship and Meagan is no longer Nathan's girlfriend.
In fact, she will never be Nathan's girlfriend again.
Sigh. Sniff.
However . . . .
As it turns out . . .
Wait for it . . .
Although Meagan is no longer Nathan's girlfriend she IS his (drum roll, please) FIANCE'!
He proposed last night!
And she said yes!!
Nathan is bringing his fiance' home!
I'm going to be a mother-in-law!!!!

Well, that's not unexpected.. but it IS exciting and awesomely wonderful!! You will finally be able to put an end to the awful "monster in law" stereotype that so many people want to perpetuate. Such a win-win situation in SO many ways... the families already know and love each other, you and Megan are both SO creative and lovely, you get along, Nathan and his in-laws get along beautifully. That is so exciting! Did you know ahead of time? My son is graduating this May also and he proposed to his girlfriend last summer while they were studying in Germany. Their wedding is going to be in July. Congratulations! Being a mother-in-law is really great!

I also wanted to tell you that I tried your recipe for the Chunky Applesauce. It is FABULOUS!!! I altered it just a tad –omitting the butter and used SPLENDA in place of the sugar (I'm doing Weight Watchers so this then gives me about 3/4 cup for one point). My family loved it as well so I already need to make more! Thanks for sharing the recipe!!!
