Sheri's Story!

I'm obviously not paying close enough attention because I just now noticed that Sheri (Meagan's mom) has had her own story about Nathan's proposal up on her blog for a little while now.

It's 7:17 AM here in Sydney and I am sitting here with my cup of tea reading Sheri's story and the tears are just running down my face.

I just cannot tell you how pleased I am for you all. Becky, what a beautiful boy you have, what a beautiful job you guys have done. When I read the newspapers and see so much of today's youth in the headlines a story like your makes you stop and pause and show what good, solid, loving parenting can do.

Wow Becky Big News, Congratulations to the happy couple!

Did you think this would happen so soon?

My son is a week younger than Nathan (Sept 26) and an equally responsible young man with a university degree and a lovely girlfriend.

I can't imagine him getting married yet though, seems just too young these days, without getting a career established. My daughter (25 years old) just got married last year.

Do they plan a long engagement?

Tears are streaming down my face while I am giggling. This is confusing my three year old, which looking at him makes me cry more because someday he will propose to someone and {HONK-BLOW} I'm a mess.
